Remove the cap. Then grasp the top of the deodorant with one hand, while holding the base with the other hand. Unclip the ball by applying lateral pressure. 

Clean the inside of the bottle and the ball with soap and water, then dry them. Pour the refill into the deodorant. Close the bottle by clipping the ball back onto the base of the glass bottle until you hear a click.
