chocolate moisturizer

Chocolate moisturizing cream recipe

What do you need?

50 g. cocoa butter, 50 g. coconut oil, 25 g. sweet almond oil (or other neutral oil) and 1 tsp cocoa powder

What to do?

Melt the cocoa butter and coconut oil in a double boiler. Add the rest of the natural ingredients, mix well and leave to cool in the fridge (or on your balcony) for around half an hour. The mixture should have firmed up by now, but should not be completely solid. Using a whisk, whip the mixture vigorously until creamy.

Warning: if you don't wait long enough and your oils are too hot, the emulsion won't set!

When you see that the cream is starting to set, plunge the bottom of your container into a bowl filled with ice water and continue whisking. Then pour the mixture into an airtight container.
