Cotton Flower

The scent of Cotton Flower will take you on a journey on a cloud of softness and comfort. Ideal for perfuming your home with a fresh, delicate scent. Top notes: soft rosewood. Heart notes: delicately aldehydic cotton enriched with ylang ylang flowers. Base notes: tonka bean and white musk.

How do I use a scented candle?

First tip: place the candle on a heat-resistant surface. Make sure the wick is straight, then light it with a lighter or match. Each time you use the candle, leave it to burn for at least 3 to 4 hours, until all the vegetable wax has become liquid on the surface-this will prevent the candle from hollowing out and forming a well around the wick-never leave the lit wick in contact with the edge of the candle, and check that the wick is straight and centered when you extinguish it-this ensures even consumption of the candle wax.

How to extinguish a candle?

Simply dip the lit wick into the liquid wax-this will extinguish the candle immediately, without smoke or odor-then straighten the wick.

Why cut the wick of a candle?

Before each use, cut the wick by 5 mm for optimum burning. If the wick is too high, the flame may give off black smoke.

Does the candle's glass container heat up?

Like all combustion candles, the glass container will become hot after a few hours of use-there is no risk to the stand or furniture on which your candle will be placed-we still recommend waiting for the candle to cool before moving it, and keeping it out of the reach of children and pets.

Vegetable wax, extracted from plants such as soya or rice, is biodegradable and has the advantage of giving off no black smoke when burned-mineral wax, made from kerosene, is very often used to make candles-it has several advantages: it's readily available, colorless and odorless-it's non-renewable-on the other hand-in a more eco-responsible approach-all the candles in this collection are made from 100% vegetable wax, derived from soya and sunflower.
