What is the difference between an electric fragrance diffuser and a stick diffuser?

There are several different types of fragrance diffuser: electric diffusers, mists and scented bouquets. In addition to the perfume diffusion process, there are other differences between them. Don't worry, we'll explain it all here:

The electric diffuser is an automated solution for home fragrancing. To do so, it must be permanently connected to an electrical outlet. At Panier des Sens , we don't recommend these diffusers for economic and, above all, ecological reasons.

Thanks to its technology, the mist fragrance dispenser gently diffuses a fragrance in a room. It consists of an ultrasonic probe that generates a light mist that spreads the fragrance through the air. This probe, fitted with a ceramic membrane, transforms water into a fine mist. But it's quite fragile: for this device to work perfectly, you need neither pure demineralized water nor water that's too hard!

Why choose a stick diffuser?

This type of diffuser, also known as a scented bouquet, is made up of rattan stems placed in a glass container. Once the perfume has been poured into the bottle, the rattan stems are inserted, soaking up the fragrance. It's a way of diffusing fragrance naturally and subtly for several weeks.

Why are Panier des Sens fragrance diffusers eco-friendly? You don't need electricity or a heat source to use the stick diffuser. The Natural rattan reeds sticks are made of natural wood and the formula is based on natural alcohol.

Unlike a candle, which releases its fragrance as it burns, the fragrance diffuser perfumes the room continuously for up to 6 months, thanks to Natural rattan reeds wood. Perfume is diffused by capillary action: the fragrance contained in the bottle rises up the rattan stems to diffuse the scent into the air.

This natural phenomenon delicately releases the fragrance of Cotton Flower to create a relaxing atmosphere.

The freshness of the flower, diffused throughout the day, is reminiscent of the smell of clean laundry.

What's more, our fragrance is made from vegetable alcohol derived from beet, wheat and sugar cane, for a more natural formula.

It's both economical and environmentally friendly! Is it possible to refill a diffuser or home fragrance with a refill of a different fragrance? Technically yes, but we don't recommend it, even if your diffuser is empty. 

The scented notes can permeate the glass bottle, mixing with the new fragrance to create an unsubtle blend. 

Is it possible to put the Natural rattan reeds rods directly into the refill bottle?
Technically yes, but this is not advisable as the plastic refill bottle is very light and could tip over under the weight of the Natural rattan reeds rods.
