VERBENA EXTRACT
La verveine citronnée est parée de fines feuilles qui exhalent un fort parfum citronné lorsqu’elles sont froissées. C’est aussi une plante médicinale notamment utilisée pour son effet sur les troubles du sommeil. Les terpènes qu'elle contient, des molécules odorantes très puissantes, agissent comme régulateurs pour apaiser et calmer les états nerveux. Paradoxe de la nature, la verveine est rafraîchissante et tonifiante alors même que ses vertus apaisantes et relaxantes soulagent le stress de la peau au quotidien.
It is also a protective cosmetic active ingredient used for its strong antioxidant power in this anti-wrinkle night cream. Extremely rich in phenolic compounds such as flavonoids and tannins, it helps combat the free radicals responsible for premature skin aging.

In Provence, the ideal terroir for growing saffron, harvesting takes place once a year in the heart of autumn. To preserve its antioxidant properties, the flowers are picked by hand, one by one, in the early hours of the morning, just after the dew has evaporated and before they hatch.
