Why do we use vegetable wax in our candles? 

We use a wax that is 100% vegetable-based to make our cherry blossom candle. The wax is chosen for its combustion and diffusion qualities, which let the fragrance of cherry blossom shine through distinctively. 

A decorative Scented Candle: 

The packaging of this handmade candle is just as elegant as its perfume. A lovely, original, delicate candle, designed and decorated in France by our teams with engravings of cherry blossoms and branches, its bright design and cloth-like touch evoke the joyfulness and colourful elegance of Provence.
Once empty, the candle’s glass jar can be reused to store your jewellery, tacks, pins, pencils, make-up brushes, or cotton pads. Your things will be showcased and easier to get to! 

A natural, eco-designed candle: 

Made of a blend of 100% plant-based waxes from soya and sunflower, this candle contains environmentally friendly ingredients. Its raw materials create a high-quality marriage between wax and perfume, for optimal diffusion.
We have ruled out mineral waxes (which are also natural) such as paraffin because they are not renewable.

NATURALNESS 

Our candle contains wax that is 100% vegetable-based, but is it natural?
Absolutely! Natural wax can be made from mineral or vegetal ingredients.
The difference? 

Vegetable wax, extracted from plants such as soy or rice, is biodegradable and has the advantage of releasing no black smoke when burned. 

• Mineral wax from paraffin is often used in candle making. Its advantages include being highly available, colourless, and odourless. It is, however, non-renewable. 

In a more eco-responsible approach, all the candles in this collection are made from 100% vegetable wax, derived from soy and sunflower. What better way to scent your home than with a beautiful, natural, eco-designed, handmade candle?

To experience all the cherry blossom fragrances of this candle, try these tips: 

Lighting the candle. 

Before you light your candle, place it on a heat-resistant surface. Make sure the wick is straight, then light it with a lighter or a match.

How to make the candle last longer. 

With every use, let the candle burn for at least 3 to 4 hours. This will melt the surface wax and prevent a sinkhole from forming around the wick.
To avoid burns and black marks, never let the wick burn against the edge of the candle.
The wick should always be straight so that the wax can melt evenly. 

Extinguishing a candle. 

To snuff out your candle, dip the wick into the hot wax using a small instrument. Straighten it out before the wax has a chance to solidify.<br>Do not blow on the candle.<br>Before each use, it is best to trim 5 mm from the wick encourage an optimal burn. 

Will the candle’s glass container get hot? 

Like any combustion-producing candle, the glass container will get hot after several hours of use.
There is no risk for the surface or piece of furniture on which your candle is placed. We do recommend waiting for the candle to cool before moving it and keeping it out of the reach of children and pets.
