Why do we use vegetable wax in our candles? 

We use 100% vegetable wax for the fresh cedar scented candle. This wax is selected for its combustion and diffusion qualities: it reveals the notes of cedar wood with precision.

NATURALNESS 

Our candle contains wax that is 100% vegetable-based, but is it natural?
Absolutely! Natural wax can be made from mineral or vegetal ingredients.
The difference? 

Vegetable wax, extracted from plants such as soy or rice, is biodegradable and has the advantage of releasing no black smoke when burned.

• Mineral wax from paraffin is often used in candle making. Its advantages include being highly available, colourless, and odourless. It is, however, non-renewable. 

In a more eco-responsible approach, all the candles in this collection are made from 100% vegetable wax, derived from soy and sunflower. What better way to scent your home than with a beautiful, natural, eco-designed, handmade candle?

How to extinguish a candle?

Never blow out the wick to extinguish the candle: dip the wick into the hot wax using a holder and then straighten it out. Before each use, cut the wick by 5mm for optimal burning. CAUTIONARY ADVICE: may produce an allergic reaction. Harmful to aquatic organisms, causing long-term adverse effects. Dispose of contents/container in an appropriate manner. In case of medical advice, keep container or label available. Keep out of reach of children. Read label before use.

How to burn a candle correctly? 

To prevent the glass from darkening, check that the wick is straight and centered when you switch it off, to ensure even consumption of the wax in subsequent uses.
